The group is concerned with the formation, the characteriziation, and the application of functional surfaces and coatings.  Heterogeneous materials and gradient films are of particular interest.  With regard to preparation, we extensivley work on the drying of latex dispersions and on electrochemically induced polymerization.  Sensing capapility is a function of much importance.
